Part Time courses

The college works closely with salon owners to establish the training requirements for the Industry. The college has developed a training programme that allows apprentices to attain their Full Level 2 City & Guilds Diploma on a day-release basis. The City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma contains 9 modules which are divided into two Phases and students may attend College on a Part Time - Day release Basis to attain this qualification. Students are registered for full qualification with City & Guilds and have up to 5 years to complete their Diploma.

 

SPECIAL OFFER €4500 to  complete Phase 1 & Phase 2 NVQ in Hairdressing Level 2 on a part time basis.Offer for course starting 10th May 2010 only.

Phase 1 -Starts May 10th  2010 and students attend the college for 15 weeks (Mondays Only) to attain 5 modules of this qualification. Students can take this course from 1st or 2nd year apprentice level.

 

Phase 2 - Starts September 13th 2010 and students can attain the remaining 4 modules of their qualification over 23 weeks. This is suitable for apprentices from 2nd year onwards. It is recommended that students have completed Foundation/Classic Cutting and Foundation Highlighting courses and/or and have a level of competency in Cutting and Colouring prior to applying for Phase 2. 

 

Nightclasses - Suitable for those with an interest in mastering the basics of hairdressing. Candidates who have successfully completed this course will receive a certificate from the College of Hairdressing, Connaught.
